About
our Leathers
We select only the highest quality full grain hides available,
and use an aniline finish to enhance the natural characteristics
in the hide. Aniline finishing allows you to see and feel
the essential qualities of genuine leather, which cannot
be duplicated synthetically.
Many
products claiming to be genuine leather are actually highly
chemically corrected; painted leathers which create an artificially
'perfect' finish. This finish is merely a top layer and
will eventually wear away. J.P. Ourse leathers are drum
dyed, ensuring that the color is deeply saturated throughout
the hide, and will not rub off or fade.
Unlike
lower quality leather goods, J.P.Ourse products become more
soft and supple over time and will develop a rich patina,
giving them true character.
Care
and Cleaning
The best way to clean our leather products is by lightly
rubbing the leather with a dump cloth. Please do not use
any detergents, oils or leather lotions, which may result
in staining.
Leather
Selections
Our
Supersoft is a full grain, supple leather that has
undergone an aniline vegetable tanning process. This results
in soft, pliable leather with a natural oiled finish. The
silhouettes in this collection are unstructured and casual.
Supersoft is available in a variety of colors.
Our
Caviar is a top grain aniline dyed leather that has
been embossed with a circular imprint and is then burnished
to bring out the depth of color the luxurious finish, and
subtle sheen. Caviar is available in various colors.
Our Pullman
is a superior full grain leather that has been drum dyed and
then hand polished to a smooth finish. Pullman leather products
start out with a matte finish, so that any scratches on Pullman
can easily be buffed back into the leather with a damp cloth.
Within a few months Pullman leather will darken slightly and
begin to develop a rich patina. Pullman is also available
in a variety colors.
Our
Guarantee
We guarantee the quality of all of our products for one
year from the date of purchase, and will gladly exchange
or repair defective or damaged merchandise. This warranty
is only valid for normal wear - not against stains, pen
marks or misuse of the product.

Shipping
Depending on our current inventory, we hope to be able to
ship your order immediately, but please allow a two week
grace period. If we cannot ship within 4 business days,
we will E-Mail you with the estimated ship date for your
approval.
To insure delivery before Christmas using UPS Ground
Service, please place orders by December 14th.
After that, you may need to expedite the shipping to insure
timely delivery. If you are unsure about the transit time,
please call us.
We
offer FREE SHIPPING via UPS Ground Service for orders
over $100 within the Continental United States. Orders in
the 48 states totalling under $100 will be charge a flat
fee of $7. All orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin
Islands & Puerto Rico will be charged $20.00 for UPS Second
Day Standard Air Delivery. If you would like to expedite
your shipment within the 48 States we offer UPS Second Day
Air Service for a flat fee of $20.00, or UPS Next Day Air
Service at a flat fee of $25.00 for the Continental United
States only.
We
can offer international shipping direct form our factory
in Bolivia at an additional cost to cover shipping.Please

Return
Policy
Returns are accepted if they are returned in their original
condition, and are returned within 30 days of receiving
the item. Please note that shipping costs will only be refunded
if we are responsible for the error.
Return
Instructions
Please include the original packing slip inside the box, and
a note describing the reason for the return. To make an
alternate selection, please list the name of the product
and your color selection. Please also include your name,
phone number, E-mail address and shipping address so that
we can contact you if necessary. If you would like to be
credited for the item, please include your credit card information,
so that we may issue credit. Please return items via UPS
or Insured Parcel Post.
